What exactly is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to save on your device. When you return, the browser sends that file back, letting the site recognise the device or remember a setting. Related technologies include local storage, session storage and tracking pixels.

Does SleepingBeg set cookies?

No. This website is built from simple static pages. Our own code does not create cookies, does not use local storage to identify you, and contains no advertising, analytics or social media tracking scripts.

Why is there no cookie banner?

Consent banners exist to ask permission for optional cookies. Because we do not use analytics, advertising or preference cookies, there is nothing optional to agree to, so we don't interrupt your visit with a pop-up.

What about embedded content?

Our photos and product video are stored on our own server rather than embedded from video-sharing or social platforms, so viewing them does not place third-party cookies on your device.

How can I control cookies myself?

Every modern browser lets you view, block and delete cookies:

• Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
• Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
• Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
• Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Blocking cookies will not stop any part of this site from working.

What happens when I click an email link?

"Order by email" and contact links open your own email program. That program, and any email service you use, operates under its own privacy and cookie terms. How we handle the email itself is explained in our Privacy Policy.
